Tottenham host Liverpool and in the first Premier League game of the weekend. Join Coral and you can back Spurs at enhanced odds of 33/1!
Given Spurs are available at 19/10 normally, 33/1 is huge value. The maximum bet at those odds is just £1 so you really don’t have much to lose. If Spurs win you’ll land a cool £33 in free bets but if not it will only set you back a quid!
Liverpool have won all of their games thus far, whilst the hosts have won all of their home games. This promises to be a brilliant game of football and Coral’s 33/1 offer is a great way to spice things up with very little risk.

Tottenham v Liverpool Preview, Premier League, Saturday 15th September 2018, Kick off: 12:30pm
The Premier League returns with a huge clash on Saturday, as Tottenham mark what should have been their opening match at their new ground. Instead, Liverpool make the trip to Wembley Stadium, where they were heavily beaten in this fixture last autumn. They go to Spurs looking to extend a perfect start to the season, but can they come away from this difficult away day with a result?
- Over 2.5 Goals – at 4/6 with BetVictor
Stats, Injuries and Suspensions
The visitors head here without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Dejan Lovren. That shouldn’t hurt Jurgen Klopp’s approach though and they’re expected to start in their usual 4-3-3 system. Meanwhile, Tottenham’s formation can adapt ahead of this game, with Hugo Lloris their only absentee. Spurs have switched up tactical plans so far, so it’s tough to predict their shape here.
While Liverpool conceded their first goal of the season in their last game, Spurs have seen both teams score in three of their first four matches. The hosts are also aiming to turn around a poor run of form against the Reds, having won just one of their previous six meetings with Liverpool ahead of Saturday’s encounter.
Tottenham v Liverpool Analysis
The Reds come into this clash as favourites, possibly based on their head to head record against Tottenham. They’ve been priced up at 6/4 with Betfair here, just ahead of Tottenham who are 7/4 with Ladbrokes. We think that pricing is fair, given that these two sides appear to be quite evenly matched. Liverpool are being talked up as title contenders, but this is the kind of game which cost them last season.
The Reds lost just five times across the whole campaign, and four of those defeats were away to their fellow top five sides. That poor form left them struggling for a spot in the top four, and it could spell trouble for them in this visit to the capital. While they won at West Ham and Palace last term, the Reds lost to Chelsea and Tottenham, and shipped three goals at Arsenal.
We’d rather go with a Tottenham win at 19/10 than back the Reds, but we’re backing a high scoring encounter as our main tip. The hosts have seen at least three goals in every game so far, while they won this fixture 4-1 last term. With that in mind, over 2.5 at 4/6 with BetVictor is our pick.
Of course, whilst Spurs at 19/10 (bet365 – subject to change) is decent value, it’s nothing compared to 33/1! Head to Coral now to claim this 33/1 Spurs cracker!
