Introduction to Ladbrokes

Ladbrokes are one of Britain’s big four high street bookmakers and can trace their origins right back to the 19th century. They are one of the biggest gaming companies in the world, with group revenue exceeding £1bn in 2012, almost 3,000 retail betting shops and around 16,000 employees to service their 850,000 registered customers. Impressive numbers.

With such size and tradition come a number of things, chiefly security, stability and a great reputation, as well as the financial backing to be able to invest in great offers and bonuses and top notch technology.

Their main headquarters are in England but Ladbrokes have been licensed and regulated in Gibraltar for some time now, like so many of the UK’s big players. They have offices in Gibraltar too and like most of their rivals have expanded from their origins as a sportsbook to now cater to all your gambling needs.

Ladbrokes offer mobile sports betting and mobile casino (including Vegas) as well as standard desktop versions of both, bingo, poker, games, live dealer casino, financial betting, virtual sports and lottos. In other words, if you like making a bit of money for nothing then Ladbrokes have got plenty of ways you can go about it and have a bit of fun at the same time.

Best feature: Good range of games and gameplay
Worst feature: Separate sports and casino wallets

What is Ladbrokes Vegas?

Ladbrokes Vegas was added to Ladbrokes’ expansive gaming offering in the summer of 2024 and in reality is more like an add-on to their main casino. It is fully available on and compatible with mobile gambling and best of all it comes with it’s own range of fantastic offers and bonuses.

If you have already taken advantage of the casino offers and the free bet in the sportsbook you are still eligible for the Vegas bonuses, although the Vegas freebies are only on offer to players from the UK, Ireland, Canada, Germany, Sweden and Russia.

Because Vegas is fully mobile compatible and utilises the same great software and games as the main casino, for the purposes of this review we are treating them as one, although it will be clearly marked which offers relate to Vegas and which to the Ladbrokes Casino.

If it sounds a bit complicated – which hopefully it doesn’t – then blame Ladbrokes, not us! On the bright side there is an additional range of bonuses available a welcome package of £1,200 is, without doubt, AMAZING!

Ladbrokes mobile casino offers and bonuses

Ladbrokes have a great selection of casino welcome bonuses that are valid for both mobile and desktop play. Unfortunately they are no longer offering their £25 no deposit Vegas bonus that was heavily advertised on the TV. We’ll let you know should that change though!

There is, however a further welcome package worth a staggering £1,200 at Vegas, consisting of a 100% bonus up to £200 on your first deposit, a 50% boost up to £500 on your second and an incredible third deposit bonus of 125% up to £500. As with all casino bonuses there are wagering requirements (30 times deposit plus bonus) but this really is a fantastic promotion.

On top of that Ladbrokes casino also offers a massive 100% welcome bonus on your first deposit up to a maximum of £500! As if that wasn’t good enough you’ll also receive 25% up to £100 on your second deposit followed by 50% to £200 and 25% to £100 on your third and fourth deposits. These bonuses are credited instantly with no need to send in a claim or opt in and if you want you can contact customer service to have the bonus removed (as long as you do this before you start playing). To withdraw your funds the wagering is 30 times the bonus only, not the deposit AND bonus as you will find at some casinos, making this a particularly generous bonus scheme and all of these bonuses are playable online and via mobile too.

There are loads of regular reloads and daily promotions too so there is no shortage of amazing bonuses on offer in the Ladbrokes casino and Vegas, whether you want to play on desktop or mobile. Mondays offer 25% cashback on losses at roulette, the weekends are time to get 25% cashback on blackjack whilst slots fans will love the 180 free spins available on the Reel ‘em In promotion.

So how good is the Ladbrokes mobile casino?

The Ladbrokes mobile casino is seriously good on all counts, most notably the ease of using the site and the way it functions. Gaming is really easy whether you want to download the mobile casino or play via their web-based casino. By downloading each game you have access to around 10 extra games, depending what type of phone/operating system you are using.

Roulette, blackjack, video poker and major slots such as Mega Moolah, Avalon and Tomb Raider are among the 22 games you can play instantly whilst downloading the casino offers more slots and table games. The interface is clean and well-structured but the experience if you download each game (they have to be done individually) play is much quicker with smarter graphics.

Ladbrokes games

The range of games, especially for Apple users, is not huge but is larger than some rival mobile casinos and with the size and might of Ladbrokes you can be sure that more and more will be added all the time. All the basics are there and with some great progressive slots you could even become a millionaire whilst you wait for the bus! If you do I’d probably phone for a taxi instead.

Ladbrokes customer service

Ladbrokes customer service is good but not quite perfect with a really extensive help section that is easy to search. That may well remove the need to contact Ladbrokes, especially as there is loads of support for the mobile casino but if you do have to get in touch you can do so by email contact form, post or phone (free), 24/7. Live chat is also available but is somewhat hidden in the My Account section, rather than being easily reached through Contact Us.

The responses we received by the various contact options were good but a little slower than we would like, especially for some more complex technical mobile issues. Good, very good in fact, but room for improvement.

Ladbrokes overall verdict

Ladbrokes is definitely one of the top group of mobile casinos, and whilst the removal of the no deposit bonus makes them slightly less attractive to some players, for those looking for a regular online casino to use for all their mobile gaming, Ladbrokes are an excellent choice thanks to their good range of other welcome bonuses and ongoing promotions. Downloading individual games may seem like an unwanted hassle but the instant play mobile casino functions well enough anyway and all round Ladbrokes mobile casino is an excellent tool for anyone who likes to play on the go.
